Epoxy and polyaspartic, whichever the slab needs. Flake or metallic, garages, houses, and shops. Ground, repaired, then sealed so Arizona sun and hot tires hit the topcoat, not the color.
An epoxy floor coating bonds into the slab you already have, so the concrete becomes the finished surface instead of something to cover with tile. Most of what you live with comes from the polyaspartic on top: wear, stains, and sunlight.
Both are full systems, not a paint kit with a different name. Epoxy is the thicker two-day build. Polyaspartic is the one-day build when the room has to come back fast. Flake or metallic sits on either one, under a topcoat that does not yellow.
Same build as metallic. Full vinyl broadcast, scraped, then the non-yellowing topcoat.
Same build as flake. Pigment poured and moved by hand, then the same topcoat.
Hot tires, oil, and the sun at the door. Built for that, not a paint kit.
Shops, showrooms, warehouses. A floor that cleans between shifts.
Flake, $8 to $10 per square foot. Metallic, $12 to $16. Standard flake elsewhere, $5 to $8.
Six-step process, written before we start. Usually two days on site.

If done right. The color layer is under two coats of aliphatic polyaspartic. That is the coat Arizona sun hits. Epoxy left bare will amber. This build does not leave it bare, which is why flake and metallic stay the color they were poured.
Yes, on a covered patio. The slab has to be sound, and the exposure has to be shade most of the day. An open drive or a pool deck is a different job. We will say so rather than coat a slab the system is wrong for.
The published ranges are per square foot. A standard flake floor in Phoenix is typically $5 to $8. Our flake systems are typically $8 to $10, and metallic is typically $12 to $16. The proposal is written after moisture, existing coatings, and crack repair are reviewed.
Absolutely. Dust mop, wipe spills, and a damp mop with a neutral cleaner. Felt pads under furniture. No grit pads and no solvent. The topcoat is the wear surface, so it does not need a wax.
No. A chip or a worn patch is ground back to clean concrete and rebuilt into the existing topcoat. The rest of the floor stays.
