Metallic epoxy being worked by hand
Metallic

Metallic epoxy, worked by hand.

Metallic uses the same build as flake. The grind, the 100% solids epoxy, and the two coats of aliphatic polyaspartic do not change. Pigment is poured and moved into the color layer instead of flake. The topcoat is what keeps that pattern from yellowing in the sun.

The same polyaspartic topcoat seals the pigment so the pattern does not wear off the traffic paths first. Sunlit rooms still get the UV-stable finish, not a second coat of epoxy.
